Discover hidden Aruba on this excellent full day tour of the island by four wheel drive jeep. The 2 door jeep provides access to numerous outstanding locations not accessible by standard vehicles. The jeeps are automatic and hold 4 guests only. If you have less than 4 in your group, your guide will match you up with others. Guests drive their own jeeps and there will be several chances to stop and switch drivers. Guests wanting a private jeep will need to purchase all 4 seats.

Heading out, you will follow your professional and friendly tour guide in their lead jeep as they lead you on a comprehensive tour of the island’s highlights. You will visit California Light House, named after a ship called the Californian, which has the distinction of having received distress signals from the Titanic as she went down in icy waters in 1912. Next you will travel to Alto Vista Chapel. The chapel was built on the site of the first Catholic church built in Aruba in 1750 by a Spanish missionary. It is a special place for peace and contemplation, surrounded by the Aruban countryside. You will also visit Bushiribana Gold Mine, the remains of a gold smelter that was built of natural stone in 1825 and functioned for most of the 19th century.

No tour of Aruba would be complete without viewing its many natural wonders. Your jeep will take you to the famous Natural Bridge. The Natural Bridge is a formation of coral limestone cut by years of pounding surf. It was one of the largest natural spans in the world, standing 23 feet above sea level and spanning more than 100 feet across until it collapsed in 2005. Nearby is the baby bridge. You will also visit the Ayo Rock Formation AND Indian drawings.

Lunch and refreshments will then be served in a local restaurant. After lunch, you will go to Baby Beach for some spectacular swimming in the crystal clear waters of Aruba. Snorkel gear is available for rental as well for approximately $5pp.
