After driving from Falmouth to the stables, approximately 40 minutes, you will set out with your trained tour guide on a scenic countryside trail ride through Drax Hall Estate along a path that takes you to the sea. Drax Hall was first established as a sugar producing entity; it remained a sugar estate through the 1880s before switching over to bananas and cattle and finally copra after 1905. Like many estates in coastal St. Ann, Drax Hall produced pimento as a secondary crop.
On arrival at the section of deserted beach, strip down to your bathing suits, as your horse is unsaddled for your tremendous bare back horse ride experience in the Caribbean Sea, an experience not to me missed. Time in the water is approximately 10 - 15 minutes. Total duration of ride portion is approximately 90 minutes.
At the end of the ride, you will drive back to Falmouth.
