Spend the day at a pristine tropical beach where you can relax and indulge yourself or enjoy a wide array of water sports and beach activities.

Your destination is Bannister Island, a tropical paradise located just off the coast of mainland Belize. After meeting local staff at the Belize Tourism Village, you will walk to the the nearby tender dock for the 15-minute scenic ride to Bannister Island. The island is a setting of white sand beaches and thatched buildings.

There are beach chairs scattered around the island for guests use. Besides Frisbees and volleyball for the active guest, there are also kayaks and peddle boats available for rent. There are showers and changing areas, as well as a play area for children. For shoppers there’s a gift shop, and there is a restaurant, and a bar where you can purchase lunch as well as tasty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. On most days, the beach scene also includes a live band playing Caribbean music.

At the end of the day, you will board your tour boat for the trip back to the Belize Tourism Village where you began your day in paradise.
