After meeting your driver at the pier, you will depart the city for the hacienda located 30 minutes drive from the port. Upon arrival, you will fill out a waiver and have a short safety orientation. Then, based on your experience, you will be matched up with your horse. Then a quick practice with the horses before setting out

You will head out along lagoons and crossing coastal plain on the first hour of your ride. During this portion, your guide will also tell you some of the history of the ranch. A stop will be made to stretch and enjoy a bottle of water.

The second part of the ride is along protected mangroves and the foothills of the nearby Karst Mountains. Your guide will discuss the areas wildlife as well as the flora and the fauna. At the end of the 50 minutes, you will return to the corral where your transportation back to the pier is waiting.

Note: Guests 2 - 5 years old must be able to hold on to the person in front of them from behind to participate. Guests 6 years of age or older ride by themselves. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult (18 or over) Helmets are available for those wishing one during the ride.
