Starting in the center of things, this general tour passes many of the major highlights of the city.

Along the way you will see the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, home to an impressive national and international art collection, sponsored by the Carlsberg Foundation. Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament and the Royal Reception Rooms. Thorvaldsen's Museum, a magnificent collection of sculptures. The National Museum - representing hundreds of years of Danish history. The Royal Theatre, world famous for its Royal Ballet. The Royal Winter residence, Amalienborg Palace and one of the most famous sites in Copenhagen, although perhaps the smallest, The Little Mermaid statue, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale. Your tour ends back at the City Hall Square, within walking distance of Tivoli Gardens, other sites of interest and shopping.
