Take a scenic 30-minute boat ride along the shoreline onboard a spacious 45 foot vessel to the small island of Peterson Cay - the smallest national park in the Bahamas. On the way there cruise along the shore in shallow clear blue waters. Sip on a cool beverage as you take in the beautiful sights. Your first stop will be an open water shallow coral reef where you can join a variety of tropical fish in their natural habitat.
Once you reach Peterson Cay, you can enjoy a sandy beach, snorkeling, bird watching, swimming, and sunbathing. As you cruise towards the beach have your cameras ready for sightings of dolphins, stingrays or spotted eagle rays that frequent these waters. Peterson Cay is also famous for sightings of many types of birds, including pelicans, herons, and several types of gulls.
The 1.5 acre island is deserted of human life. There are no buildings, umbrellas, beach chairs or motorized toys. It is best known for a place to snorkel and what you bring on the island you need to take back with you at the end of the day
A friendly native crew will entertain you and share their Bahamian culture. A buffet style Bahamian picnic lunch will be set up on the beach and beverages are included.
Please note: This tour is for all level of snorkelers (with instructions provided). Visit to Peterson Cay is dependent on conditions on that day; at the discretion of the captain an alternate deserted island may be visited instead. Taxi to meeting point is approximately $5pp each way
