Set out from the center of the downtown area and visit the scenic districts of Sodermalm, Norrmalm, Östermalm, Kungsholmen, Djurgården, and the old town of Gamla Stan, each with its own special character. You will visit the island of Djurgården, regarded as Stockholm's amusement and recreation center with great museums, parklands and gardens. View the Diplomatic quarters and elegant townhomes in Östermalm, the modern shopping and business areas at Hamngatan and Sergels Torg, and the island of Kungsholmen where you will see the impressive City Hall, the site of the annual Nobel Prize Banquet. A photo stop will be made at Fjallgatan with its magnificent view of the city. You will also drive across Gamla Stan, the city's old town and home to the Royal Palace. Tour ends right back downtown so you can explore on your own after your orientation.
