Explore St Kitts and Caribe

After meeting your driver/guide at the pier, begin your St. Kitts excursion with a short narrated drive through Basseterre City, with its dramatic history, monuments and preserved colonial architecture such as the Berkeley Memorial, Independence Square- once a slave market and ancient churches that reflect bygone times.

Your first stop on this St. Kitts tour is the Carib Brewery which produces approximately 750,000 bottles of Carib lager beer, Skol, Stout, Guinness, Giant and Vita Malts. You will have a guided tour of the facility which takes approximately 56 minutes. Not only will you get to see how beer is made and bottled, but you are invited to enjoy a chilled bottle on completion of the tour.

Depart the modern Brewery, for a scenic drive into the heart of the verdant countryside to Wingfield Sugar Estate. The ongoing restoration of its 17th century structures, machinery and Rum Distillery leaves you with a lasting impression that St. Kitts once prominent sugar estates, the majority of which lie in ruin, were complex monuments of human industry, ambition, suffering and endurance. All secretly holding memory and meaning. You will have approximately 30 minutes at the site.

A stop will be made at nearby Caribelle Batik where you will have approximately 30 minutes to see Batik printing, stroll through the delightful gardens or perhaps purchase a souvenir before boarding your transport back to the port.

Please Note:A minimum of 2 guests are required for this tour to operate.
