For guests who want a private boat, this trip is ideal. The trip lasts four hours, including van travel (50 minutes each way), which provides plenty of time to view whales as well as other animals including Orcas, bears, sea lions, eagles, and porpoises, all while enjoying the incredible scenery that Southeast Alaska has to offer. The boat accomodates up to 6 guests so everyone receives personal attention. All of our whale watching trips includes a snack of smoked salmon and crab along with non-alcoholic beverages. On most trips, you will see an abundance of wildlife and we guarantee that you will see at least a whale or an orca or your money will be completely refunded.
Your trip includes all transportation costs from the downtown Juneau to Auke Bay and back. Our boat is custom made by an Alaskan company and is designed to provide great visibility, stability and strength. It has a bathroom, refrigerator, heating, and plenty of room to walk around, as well as a large windows and front deck for viewing. For those concerned about getting seasick, this is the most stable boat you can find. It is a catamaran and over 12 feet wide and 30 feet long.
