Experience Juneau’s most scenic and historic locales on this adventure!
You begin on downtown’s narrow streets past the State Capitol, Russian Orthodox Church, and Governor’s mansion before heading out of town to Juneau's most magnificent attraction, the Mendenhall Glacier. Enjoy panoramic views; walk one of the short nature trails; or explore the Visitor's Center, with interactive displays and U.S. Forest Service interpreters who offer insight into this breathtaking natural phenomenon.
You continue North through the once thriving Auke Indian village site to the Shrine of St. Therese where you explore the historic stone chapel and serene waterfront grounds. From here you continue “out the road” to Eagle Beach to take in the expansive sand beach and incredible Chilkat mountain range while relaxing over a light, Alaskan snack.
On your return to town, you can either stop in at the Macaulay Salmon Hatchery to view and learn about the amazing Alaskan salmon or stop in at the award-winning Alaskan Brewing Company for a tour and taste of Juneau you’ll truly enjoy.
Each guest is provided a sourdough bagel with smoked salmon spread and bottled waters, binoculars, rain poncho (if necessary), and blanket (should you choose to cruise with the top down).
