This exclusive tour is only for four to six people. This tour combines a scenic flight with bear viewing up close and personal as well as a chance to see marine wildlife, all in three hours.
You will fly across Clarence Strait to the rugged east coast of Prince of Wales Island, where our partners at a remote lodge pick you up at their dock. Ryan and Angie run their lodge amid a teeming summertime menagerie of wild creatures. Ryan takes you out in an open skiff for an extreme close-up look at bears congregating along shore. Then you go farther out for a view of rocky small islands. You’ll see seals and sea lions and many eagles. On a lucky day, whales are passing by just offshore. Ryan’s enthusiasm and long Alaskan experience make this the best possible personalized wildlife tour. Back at the dock, you enjoy a light snack and drink prepared by Angie. Then you’re in the air back to Ketchikan with priceless photos and memories.
