You will admire the colonial architecture of the historic downtown area as your professional guide shars the history of this region. You will see Ave Maria Cathedral, built since 1527. The cathedral features a beautiful neoclassical facade, a large central cupola, and interior cedar woods carvings. You will also see the Government Palace and learn the history of Mexico outlined in mural painted by the famous Chavez Carrillo. After you trip to the Palace, enjoy a stroll or shopping for souvenirs in the many local shops.

Next you will visit the Museo de Nogueras where you will learn of the region's pre-Columbian history. Your next stop will be Comala.
