After meeting your guide at the pier, you will start a walking tour of Old San Juan, where you will get acquainted with a little bit of Puerto Rican history and culture as your guide walks with you through the ancient streets of the charming old city. This portion of your tour will be about 2 hours of walking with stops.

The next part is always the favorite of guests. Puerto Rican food is among the most flavorful in the world due to its roots in the cooking traditions and practices of Spain, Africa and the Amerindian Taínos. For the next two hours, you are going to be immersed in a Mofongo and Mojito culinary demo & dining experience.

You can't come to Puerto Rico and not try Mofongo. It is a mashed mound of plantains into which a combination of seafood, meat, or vegetables is added. We have chosen a beautiful local restaurant that has a unique colonial atmosphere to give you time to appreciate the real Latin flavors. The staff will welcome you with unique Puerto Rican hors d'oeuvres and their renowned chef will demonstrate how to create the famous mofongo. Become a chef for a day and find out how this incredible Puerto Rican meal is made, then, at the end, enjoy the fruits of your own delicious creation. You will also sample an included rum mojito during your experience. Additional beverages can be purchased.
