Departing the pier, you will first drive to Fjällgatan which overlooks the water and the city of Stockholm across the water. Continue to the city center for a walking orientation of the Old Town. Your professional guide will take you though the winding maze of streets lined with cafes, shops and galleries that add their charm to the different architectectual styles of the buildings that represent more than 300 years of design. Depart from Stockholm and drive to the town of Sigtuna. Along the way, you will pass some of Stockholm's highlights and continue through the lush countryside, along Lake Mälaren to Sigtuna.

Sigtuna is the oldest and probably the 'cutest' town in Sweden. You will see a medieval lane lined with colorful wooden shops, galleries, cafés, parks, a lakeside promenade, the Maria Church, ruins and some runic stones. Your guide will take you on an orientation tour that includes a visit to the medieval Maria Church, before you are given free time to explore the many shops or stroll around on your own. Then, enjoy a typical Swedish lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch, you will drive southeast on a scenic drive back to Stockholm, then crossing over the Western Bridge before arriving back at your ship.
