You will be picked up and dropped off at the pier and transferred to El Querand (San Telmo district). From here, you will travel to a famous and historical theater, and enjoy a truly unique experience.
Tango is the national dance of Argentina, combining influences from European and African culture. The dance originated in lower-class districts of Buenos Aires in the 1890s and soon became popular throughout society, as theatres and street barrel organs spread it from the suburbs to the working-class neighborhoods, which were packed with hundreds of thousands of European immigrants, primarily Italians, Spanish and French. Today, Tango is considered one of the most beautiful dances in the world.
When you arrive at the Tango theater, you will become part of the traditional atmosphere as you are escorted to your table for dinner near the professional dance floor and stage where renowned Tango artists will perform. At your table, you will enjoy the best Argentine and international cuisine, with a great variety of delicious options. Sample local culinary delights and/or enjoy a more international selection of dishes including a very impressive selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts.
After dinner, sit back, relax, and enjoy a world-class Tango show. Professional dancers will amaze you with their grace, agility and beauty. You will also enjoy authentic Tango music, played in the city where it all began. Watch as these marvelous artists give it their all for a two-hour show in order to provide a wonderful experience for their guests.
