"Nick and Karen run a great operation. Our group of six was met just outside the gate where we docked in Freeport. Nick drove is in the van to their dive shop, roughly 15-20 minutes away. We all had a good chat on the way. Once there, they checked identification and certification, then we were off to get geared (I used the shop's SCUBA equipment, though some brought their own). We were off on the boat very quickly and taken to our first dive spot.
Our group was comprised of divers of various skill level, though no one was doing his or her first open water dive. Regardless, everyone was treated with courtesy and respect. I hadn't been under water for a while, but I felt completely safe and reassured. Dive Masters reviewed a few signals before the dives, and they established a definitive minimum air tank level as well.
Each of the two dives lasted about 35-45 minutes, and we were treated to some gorgeous sights, including plenty of wildlife. I did manage to spy one reef shark in the distance on the first dive, but others reported seeing 3-4 sharks. The reefs and various fish were amazingly beautiful. We also explored parts where there was some airplane wreckage and debris.
Rinse tanks were available both aboard the vessel and back at the shop, and they had fresh drinking water on board as well. I had to purchase a shirt from the shop to commemorate my first 2-tank dive. Prices were reasonable. Once we were all done, Karen drove us back into the cruise port, all the way to the loading area.
I definitely recommend this top-notch operation."
"Kind of disorganized in changing guides and buses during the trip. Also it seemed they were looking for places to take us. The gsecond guy was very good and informative."
"The driver was very funny I would do this excursion again if the driver(Richard) was driving"
"This was by far one of the best excursions EVER! It was easy to get to, short distance from Pier, and boat ride to there was smooth. Once you arrive on the Island you are amazed at the luxury and privacy. The dolphins are so friendly, they swam towards us as we were walking to the main building. They really appeared happy and the trainers showed so much love and adoration for them. The whole experience was extremely personal. After the encounter (WONDERFUL) we enjoyed the islands beautiful beach with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. There is two pools at your disposal also. place to sit in the shade and have a drink or something to eat. It was clean, quiet and beautiful.
The only drawbacks were the price of the food and drinks were high, and no personal photos can be taken while with the dolphins. You have the option to purchase a CD with your pictures on it, the whole CD cost around $100 so be aware."
"We especially like the size of this group. The excursion booked through the cruise ship was much larger. The guides on the boat we helpful and friendly. We felt it was a great value!"
"This was the first time on that island and I love it. Would definitely go back again."
"Love the lagoon a very peaceful place. Food was great and music too."
"I would recommend this tour to everyone who likes adventures and new experience."
"The people that worked with the dolphins were amazinthe kids loved them."
"Difficult to find meeting place because it was a yellow building- not white as listed. Once we made the connection, all was well. A wonderful boat ride to the beautiful island. A good orientation of how to interact with the dolphin. The staff was very respectful of the needs of the dolphins. The experience was perfect. We were in shallow water and the dolphin, Salvador, was in deep water. We kissed, hugged and danced with the dolphin. He was treated frequently with fish and given breaks as needed. Bucket list met!"
"really enjoyed this tour. Pace and distance were perfect. Food was great!"
"Highly recommend this excursion to anyone. This excursion gives you the chance to really enjoy, explore, and witness God's work under the water. I wish the photots would have been a little cheaper. If you are late getting to your meet spot call them they made special arrangements for us because our boat docked late."
"My kids and I bought tickets at the hotel and it cost me $569.00. There was 4 of use and they charged me the adult price. What a waste of money. I wish I knew about this website then but I know now. We are taking another cruise in March 2016. I will definitely be using this website. The only bad thing about this excursion is you don't have a lot of time to spend there."
"I really enjoyed this shore excursion. The only minus was the weather as it was wet and raining almost all day. We still had a great time with the dolphins even with the weather not being optimal. We knew that this would probably be the only time we would do something like this so we opted to pay for the pictures ($75). I felt the picture cost was a little costly and wish they had a cheaper alternative. All in all we had a great time with the dolphins and this was a once in the lifetime opportunity."
"Informative and historical"
"Would have loved a second location or stop but the cruise stop was too short at this port."
