"Overall, a great tour. Only downside for us was confusion at the beginning about which bus to board. It was around 45 degrees outside, and we had to wait for an extra 30-45 minutes while the drivers of the various buses figured it out."
"We're glad that we took this overview of the area because we probably won't be back to this area. Our driver/guide lives in a suburb of Halifax and shared a great deal of knowledge. The scenery was astounding!"
"Our guide Robert made this tour so special. He was so knowledgeable and also told us fun facts and local places to stop and see. His understanding of history was considerable and we came away with a much better understanding of this beautiful city."
"A once in a lifetime experience to see the river flow with raging rapids and hours later change flow direction."
"Beautiful Museum. Tour guide of Museum was very knowledgeable of items within the Museum's collection and the Jewish settlers of Saint John. Tour guide of Shore Excursion Group was knowledgeable about the area. I feel I had two tours that day, first of St. John and then of the Saint John Jewish Museum. I really enjoyed this tour!"
"Good tour with several stops at points of interest around town. Comfortable bus. Pickup location not convenient because requires a cab ride from cruise terminal."
"In poor weather someone might find this tour a real let down, but we had a cold, crystal clear day and with the gorgeous views all along the way, it made the historic and cultural background nice filler in between stops. As always, it's nice when someone else does the driving too!"
"A very detailed walking tour that got into many areas the bus tours cannot attempt. Michael was a great guide that had a wealth in information about the old City and Palace Royal area. Not a tour for those that cannot walk a couple of miles, lots of stairs and uneven cobblestone streets like any older European City"
"Well managed and structured tour. Thoroughly enjoyed informative guide. Very comfortable upscale bus ride. Nice stop for lunch at Peggy's Cove. So glad this excursion was scheduled."
"Before we boarded the 2-masted, 103 year old schooner we were applauded for our willingness to brave the cold and mist in order to see the Harbor sites from the water.
The entire crew shared their knowledge of the area while we "tacked" and "came about"."
