Grand Hobart Tour

We enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Mount Wellington was socked in with clouds. It was cold and windy so be sure to wear some layers so you enjoy the time out of the bus.

This tour was definitely GRAND. The view from Mt. Wellington was unbelievable. The Women's Prison was interesting and informative. The Botanical Gardens are so much more than I anticipated after seeing the Royals in Sydney. Definitely worth the 1 hour visit! The best was saved for last ...The Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. We definitely were able to the wambats, kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, tasmanian devils, etc. but still would have LOVED to spend more time. Just terrific day and great guide. This tour is a must if going to Hobart and you want to see it all!

Very good, comprehensive tour. Our driver/guide for the first half shared interesting stories and highlights as we visited Mt Wellington (great views although very windy at the top), Cascade Gardens, the Female Factory (Women's Prison), and Botanical Gardens (lovely!). The guide for the second part of the tour to visit the wildlife park was very entertaining (although some bad puns), and the visit to see & walk among the wildlife was very worthwhile.

An incredible day, possibly the best of our 40 day cruise. From Mt Wellington in the morning to the Bonorang Sanctuary in the afternoon and all points in between, we had an incredible day. Our original concern that our tour was to bring us back shortly before our all aboard time was dismissed as the tour bus dropped us back directly in front of the cruise terminal with plenty of time to spare.

Excellent tour of Hobart and environs. Very knowledgeable guide. Comfortable transportation. Interesting sites. Well worth the price. Highly recommend if you have a limited time in Tasmania.
