We thought the salt reclamation process, past and present, was very interesting. The Plaza Beach resort was very clean. It was a little difficult to figure out how the chairs were priced for rental. Staff allowed us to switch to the less expensive chair when they collected fees over an hour after we were there. Advice: Strongly recommend wearing or bringing water shoes. The shore line is rocky but there is a long dock you can walk out on to access the water beyond for swimming and snorkeling. Would recommend.

Perfect way to both see Bonaire and relax!

We had an amazing tour guide that just took our party of 6 around the Southern Part of the Island. She was friendly and we loved seeing the Salt Mines, Wind Surfers, Flamingos among other things. Then we went to the Plaza Resort, for an amazing afternoon. Great snorkeling, quiet, plenty of sunshine, still enough to do for 4 year old and teens(free wifi). Was truly the highlight of our cruise.

The guide was great! They took us all around the Island, and it was informative. The people on bus that "did not" book thru this site paid a lot more then we did because their excursion was booked from the ship which included a lunch that they paid over $40.00 dollars more per person for a hamburger or Hot Dog and drink. There was many complainants back on the ship after we returned. I was glad we booked this excursion thru this site, I bought my own food for a lot cheaper price.

Salt flats were interesting but the flamingos were so far away,w e cou 'll d barely see them even with binoculars. The beach was nice.
