Discover Scuba

The people were very nice and fun. They were very professional and knowledgeable. The boys had a great time diving. They saw lots of interesting things. They were most impressed by the octopus. The only downside was that they charged someone a full price snorkel fee and they were just observing. I would suggest that they offer observers to come at a lower price (if there is room, which there was on our tour) since they won’t be using any equipment. All in all, this was a very good excursion. We would go on it again.

Great experience with the gang at Discover Scuba. (can't remember names..sorry) The main fellow that took us through most of the training was super patient with his group of 6 "newbies". One thing I would recommend is better signage along the street. We walked past the office which was off the main road going into town beside a cheese store that sells cheeses from Holland and elsewhere. Would have liked to have checked out the store a little longer and sampled more cheese but we were able to get going on our excursion a little early. Easy to walk to from where our ship docked but had to ask 2-3 people where the place was. Overall the excursion was perfect for those wanted to "discover scuba" and crew were very friendly and made sure everything was thoroughly explained and understood as you went through each step. Safety was their number one concern. Thanks guys for an awesome adventure!!

The instructor was very knowledgeable and patient with my wife! Made all instructions clear and would definitely recommend him!!

For this first time scuba participant, Damian could not have been more patient! He explained everything very thoroughly in the shop, the pool and was very clear with signals underwater. The equipment was in great condition and you knew that he was quite experienced and I felt very safe at all times. A great introduction to scuba, I would definitely do it again!

This was a very good excursion. Costco provided detailed and accurate instructions regarding getting to site of the excursion. The instructor was knowlegeable and helpful. Unfortunately, we did not see as much sea life as I had in the past, but I thoroughly enjoyed sharing my daughter's first experience scuba diving. I would not hesitate to sign up for future excursions with Costco. Excellent experience and was less expensive than cruise line scuba excursion.
