Private Best of Alexandria

I have to say, my husband was not thrilled about taking private tours in a foreign country. I'm telling you - and he would too now - do it! It is absolutely wonderful to have a well educated guide show you the country he loves. Omar was exceptional. And to have someone riding with you, answering questions as they arise, while still sharing all of the factoids you would get on a group tour - it's a marvelous experience, and one I highly recommend. Especially if you are as lucky as we were to have Omar as your guide.

We were extremely pleased with our "Private Best of Alexandria" tour. On June 1, 2023, our tour guide was Heba and our driver was Emad. We covered (essentially) all the key sights; including, but not limited to: the Bibliotheca, Harbor, Montanza Palace, National Alexandria Museum, Catacombs of Kom El Shuquafa, Citadel of Quait Bay, and Tomb and the Unknown Soldier. We traveled through different areas of the city and saw lots of different and interesting architecture. Our included lunch was at the "Fish Market, Americana", wherein we had a great harbor view and a very nice lunch. Our tour guide, Heba, was really excellent; she was very knowledgable, nice and organized. We loved our day in Alexandria, Egypt. Thank you!
