Private Highlights of Rome

The 6 of us were met on the pier by our driver for our drive to Rome, where we met up with our tour guide, Valentina. The Van was very comfortable. The driver was very knowledgeable and friendly, and Valentina was WONDERFUL! We were not expecting to go to the Vatican Museum and Sistene Chapel, but she helped us add to our itinerary, got us front of the line at every stop, and made the day the highlight of our cruise! I cannot say enough about this excursion! If I get the chance to go back, I would use this company again.

Our driver picked us up from the pier in a nice luxury van. Our tour guide Ana had our day planned according to the events of the day. This was Italy’s Independence Day. She was able to get us into every major sight in Rome from grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica where you can view the Pieta by Michelangelo, to the Roman Colosseum, my favorite. Ana was very knowledgeable Roman history with many interesting facts. She was taking our picture at the Trevi Fountain when she was able to get a picture of the Italian Air Force fly over. We saw all the major sights including the Pantheon. We could not have done this in a day without a driver and a tour guide. It is an excursion I will never forget. Well worth the money.
