Valencia Bike Tour

Four adults did this tour and it was very good. Guide was knowledgable and friendly. Bikes in good condition. Valencia is perfect for a bike tour because of the huge old river bed running through the center of the city - nice flat riding. Good balance of riding vs. stopping to hear history and Valencia information. Not difficult riding. The only thing to note is the bike shop is a fair ways from the cruise port and even from the center of town where a cruise shuttle would take you. So, allow enough time to get there for the start of the tour.

The tour was very interesting and the bikes were ok, but there were too many people on the tour to be comfortable. There was a break but we weren't told that there was a restroom nearby until it was end of break.

We loved this tour. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke English perfectly. So interesting to hear about the history of the city. Riding a bike through Valencia was so much fun and very safe. You do need to know that this tour leaves from a spot several kilometres from the cruise ship port. The bus stops downtown but that is still a bit of a walk. We did walk from the ship (had plenty of time), enjoyed it and felt very safe. Don't miss the chocolate and coffee, both are delicious.
