Awesome Grotto

Lush , tropical foliage in the grotto. Small waterfall in the background and hanging foliage. Stunning! One of the lafies actually received at marriage proposal. Nice touch to the visit. The river ride wss peaceful. Smith family history was great.

Wailua River Cruise and Grotto

This was an excellent itinerary, with an excellent guide and a tremendous value. Don't even consider what the cruise ship offers. There were only three couples on our 20 passenger bus. Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He knew quite a lot about the many movies and TV shows that used the island for location shooting.

Relaxing

The River cruise was relaxing and informative. The walk to the cave was beautiful, paths were good for walking. Grotto is no longer as pictured. It is no longer tall enough to stand in and the ferns although lovely are not as long as they used to be. Nice trip, try to board early enough to sit on the outside benches for better view.

My husband and I both enjoyed this excursion. The bus driver was great, the trip along the river was fun and the visit to the fern grotto was wonderful.

Enjoyed the casual easy going tour. The hosts were very helpful with people with handicaps. I loved the Hula dance. It was so graceful and the real version of the Hawaiian Wedding Song was well done.

Relaxing Trip on the Wailua River

We enjoyed the relaxing trip on the Wailua River and the ceremony at the Fern Grotto. Our driver gave us an overview of the island as we traveled from the port to the river, great information and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the singing and dancing while traveling up river. Best of all the walk up to the grotto and back. The only word to describe the landscape is BEAUTIFUL.

Grotto cruise

We were met just off the boat by Edmonds, who was pleasant and made us feel at home. The cruise was relaxing and had 3 Hawaiian musicians on board for entertainment.

Kauai is stunning. We hit a lucky day, where the visibility was good. Beautiful waterfalls, and a nice boat trip (with hula dancing as entertainment).
