Maui Snorkel Cruise

We have been on snorkel tours at other locations in the past, but this one topped them all. Going out to the Molokini crater was a blast, but the big highlight for us was Turtle Town, where we saw a dozen or so giant sea turtles, one of which swam so close to me I had trouble getting out of the way! The crew of the Pride of Maui was very helpful, coming out in the water with us and pointing out where the turtles were. They cooked a delicious lunch for us, too. We had a great day on this tour!

This was a great excursion. The staff on the boat did a great job with assisting beginners.

The group that manages this excursion does a top-notch job from start to finish -- from the continental breakfast to the snorkel training, which includes followup assistance once we were in the water. Complimentary organic sunscreen was an unexpected bonus. The water was amazingly clear (30 feet down!), and seeing the fish, coral -- and a shark! -- was amazing! Helpful tip: Don't think you have to leave your cell phone behind. There's even service while on the water! The whole crew was professional and capable. They made this the best experience we had while visiting Maui!

Unfortunately a very windy day made Molokini really rough. Next spot was very nice. Crew was great and food/drinks were great! A little pricey, though, i think.

We enjoy snorkeling but thought this excursion was crowded. When you are in the water especially. We felt like we were constantly bumping into people, rather then enjoying the under water sites. Also the corral was not as vibrant as I have seen before. Overall it is was ok but not our best snorkeling trip.

yes we saw 4 foot sharks below us;;nice;;but chilllin;;crew are all pros and watch care for one and all;;whole trip was visually beautiful;water is loaded w fish and thgs,lol turtles too
