Thermal Mudpool Tour - Lautoka

I was the only person on this tour. Just me and a driver in a large Toyota SUV. The driver was very knowledgeable and showed me many points of interest during the journey to the Mudpool. When we got there, he stayed with me the whole time, looked after my bag and took photos of me.I had a massage ($10 US for 15 minutes). Well worth it. On the way back to the ship, he took me on a tour of the town.

Off to a little bit of a rocky start (couldn't find the tour guide) but once we did it turned into an amazing day. Since this was a "non-cruise" tour, we arrived at the mudpool long before the cruise ship masses so my wife was treated like a queen since she was the only one there! You get to soak in the mud pool to let the mud detoxify your skin and then continue your relaxing experience at 2 additional warm spring pools. You have the option to purchase a massage (SO WORTH IT!) so you go back to the ship relaxed and skin so soft! Our guide was also very knowledgable about the sugar plantations, the sugar mill and everything we saw to/from the mud pool. Overall a very good day!
