If you're a scuba diver visiting Bermuda, you absolutely must leave room in your itinerary for this two-tank certified dive.
Home to the northernmost coral reef system in the world, the isles of Bermuda are surrounded by more than 350 wreck sites. Most wrecks are situated in relatively shallow depths of 30-50 feet of water, which allows divers extended bottom times and easy access via short boat trips. These factors have contributed to Bermuda earning its reputation as a world-premier wreck-diving destination.
After meeting your dive instructor for this King's Wharf shore trip at the cruise pier, you will walk to your dive boat. On this Two-Tank Dive, divers will be extensively briefed on the boat ride to the first dive site, usually two historic wrecks which lay side by side in 30-50 feet of water. The second dive site is a breathtaking reef where coral and colorful fish are abundant. At the end of the second dive, you will be returned to the cruise pier area. As space is limited on the boat, please bring only what you need for the dive.
Weather and water conditions will dictate the exact sites visited the day of the dive. Tour price includes BCD, regulator, tank, mask, flippers, weights and wet suit. Any other equipment can be rented the day of the tour.
Health restrictions apply and a waiver and medical statement is required to be filled out by all participants. Please look at the following example:
If you cannot pass the questionnaire, or do not have the required physician's statement, you will not be permitted to dive. Guests not able to dive will not be entitled to a refund so please look at the questionnaire BEFORE booking this tour.
IN ADDITION: If you are taking medication, consult your doctor before participating in this program.
The 3 guys who were our guides were very friendly and knowledgable. One of the guests had been in the area 10 years before and asked to dive a specific wreck again. They were extremely accomodating. We ended up diving three wrecks instead of two. Wonderful time. Great people!
