Full Day Bicycle Tour

Your journey of discovery begins as you board a comfortable coach directly from the pier area for a scenic ride out to Southbank Parklands, an eclectic mixture of grassy areas, plazas, fountains, a riverfront promenade plus several shops and restaurants.

Once here, you and your local, knowledgeable tour guide will mount bicycles and begin to pedal along the winding banks of the beautiful Brisbane River.

Make your way to Kangaroo Point cliffs for sweeping views of the city then cross the iconic Story Bridge as you continue riding to New Farm Park. While at the park, take a break along the riverside for a morning tea picnic of Australian snacks and drinks while you get to know your cycling companions and learn more about Brisbane and its people.

A quick ride out to Teneriffe rewards you with views of historic Queenslander style homes. This former riverside industrial hub-turned-inner city suburb contains many heritage-listed sites revealing Brisbane's time in the wool trade and as a submarine base during WWII.

You will also visit the beautiful City Botanic Gardens with its lush, tropical plants and striking outdoor sculptures, this is Brisbane's original botanic gardens. Part of the riverside site where the gardens are located was originally a botanic reserve. It was established in 1828 to provide food for the early penal colony. Major redevelopment of the gardens took place in 1987, which included building an information center, upgrading the paving and converting the former curator's residence into a restaurant.

Conclude the bicycling portion of your tour back in Southbank Parklands with a delicious lunch and free time to explore the area even more on your own. You will also have the option to board the coach for a quick trip to Mt. Coo-tha for breathtaking views of Brisbane and Moreton Bay before your return trip back to port.

This small group tour is a perfect way to maximize your time while in Brisbane, get the very most out of your day and reserve your spot now!
