From the port in Langkawi, you'll be driven to the Langkawi Cable Car, or SkyCab. From the Lower Station, view pristine flora below as you ascend to the Middle Station, where your guide will meet you.
Prepare for a 30 to 40 minute walk up Machinchang Mountain to immerse yourself in nature. The walk is geared for beginning hikers and no special equipment is required, but one should be in decent physical condition. Once you arrive at the Top Station, you will have the opportunity to cross the SkyBridge, which is the longest free span and curved bridge in the world. At a height of over 700 meters (2300 ft) above sea level. Suspended approximately 100 meters (328 ft) above the ground below, the SkyBridge can accomodate up to 250 people at one time, making it an extremely durable structure. This bridge will give visitors access to vistas of virgin forest that prior to 2004, only birds could attain. This is a haven for landscape photographers and daredevils alike.
