Explore Bonaire in an easy way while getting a little exercise too. Get up close and personal with this beautiful island when you ride through and explore the south side, one of the most beautiful parts to see. On an electric bike you can exercise without getting completely exhausted. Your bike will help you go around the island while you view amazing sights with a guide who will lead you to numerous sights for you to discover with stops to take pictures and to rest.
Your tour will start right from the pier where we will prepare your bike to fit your needs. All participants are given a helmet and a bottle of water. Once you are comfortable on your bike you will start your electric bike tour heading south. You will start on a very safe road towards Plaza Beach Resort and then head to Flamingo Airport, the beautiful pink airport of Bonaire, then continue south and pass Belnem, the emblematic neighborhood once owned by Harry Bellafonte.
Your first stop will be at the salt pier where you are given some information about the salt process, and you will have the chance to take some amazing pictures at the color contrast of the turquoise Caribbean Sea and the pink water of the salt pans.
After you are refreshed, continue further south to the white slave huts. Make another stop to learn about the history that surrounds these little houses and about the weekly migration of the slaves. A little further ahead you will also get to see the red slave huts and after passing them you will make a third stop at one of the 5 lighthouses of Bonaire. Willemstoren lighthouse was completely renovated in 2012 and it is located at the southern end of Bonaire.
After the lighthouse stop, continue to see one of the most famous spots of Bonaire, Sorobon. Stop at the beach hut beach bar and enjoy a complimentary drink while taking in the views of Bonaire's world famous windsurfers doing their impossible pirouettes in the air. After about 15 minutes of relaxing begin your way back to Kralendijk through the mangrove area. Because the bikes are silent there are great chances to spot flamingos along the way, if you are lucky to see some you can stop for pictures from a safe distance as not to disturb them.
Please Note: Your tour includes your electric bike, bottled water and 1 complimentary drink at The Beach Hut.

We had a great time on this excursion and would do it again! Our guide was knowledgeable and was able to share a lot of information about Bonaire. He was very concerned over our safety and comfort during the trip.

We absolutely loved this excursion! There were four of us with another group of four. Nice smal group. We rode for about 25 miles, and saw incredible sights! Our guide was very knowledgeable and stopped to let us see the salt flats, the slave huts and flamingos. He provided water for each of us and was very caring and attentive when I had problems because of the heat. I was impressed with the fact that he provided the ship with a list of their passengers that were with him. It was easy to find him on the pier also. EXCELLENT tour and I'm happy that we booked this excursion.

My husband and I enjoyed this tour. It was a great way to learn about the salt flats and observe the operation. Our tour guide was friendly and informative as well as very quick to deal with a couple of flats along the way. The terrain is flat and easy to ride, especially with the boost from the electric bikes. The ocean vistas are gorgeous and the sea breezes are cooling in the heat. Returning into the downtown traffic about 6:00 with the descending sun full in our faces and having to negotiate a busy round about provided a few nervous moments for some of us not so used to riding in traffic. Perhaps some thought can be given to avoiding the round about on the return. This is a new business with considerable promise. We wish our young guide every success as he establishes this informative, scenic and active tour of southern Bonnaire.

We absolutely loved this excursion! It was an excellent value, worth every penny. We biked 25 miles, over four hours, and made several stops to include the salt flats, former slave huts, the mangrove forest to observe the flamingos, and the beach. The bikes are power assist, but it was still a workout, and this tour requires moderate physical fitness. Our guide was awesome and we plan on doing this again on our next trip to Bonaire. 5 *!
