Amsterdam's canal system is universally acclaimed, and this Amsterdam canal tour ticket gives you the opportunity to explore it to your heart's content. Your Amsterdam canal and museum tour ticket grants you 24-hour access to the waterways and includes admission to one of the city's most notable museums.
Choose from any of three routes on this Amsterdam canal cruise. The green line will take you near the Jordaan district, which is known for its trendy shops and restaurants. You'll also encounter several famous homes near there, including those of Anne Frank and Rembrandt. Expect to see beautiful architecture galore on the blue route as you're taken past the street markets, windmills, and other buildings for which Holland is known. If you're a history buff, then the red line is for you. This route stops near several popular museums, including Hermitage Amsterdam.
Hermitage Amsterdam, the largest dependency of the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia, was originally a retirement home for elderly women (and eventually, men). Rapid modernizations in the medical field as well as the changing needs of patients made the building no longer viable. In 2009, the building reopened as a museum and now hosts two temporary exhibitions throughout the year along with two permanent exhibits about the site's history and Netherlands-Russia relations. For the ultimate in convenience and price, take advantage of this Amsterdam canal and Hermitage tour today. It's a history lesson you won't soon forget.
