Countryside and Hidden Lagoon Trail Ride
Countryside and Hidden Lagoon Trail Ride
What a fun way to see the natural terrain of Aruba, on horseback in a group with no more than 10 guests.
After your transfer from downtown to the stables and a safety briefing, you will be assigned a horse and head out on a trail ride through the "Cunucu," or Aruban countryside.
As this tour does not cross streets or include galloping, it is a perfect ride for children or beginners. Helmets are also provided.
One sure highlight of the tour is the visit to the hidden lagoon, where the local residents - donkeys, iguanas, parakeets and more - can be spotted. You will see that many of them like having their picture taken. The total ride time is approximately one hour.
Due to the tropical climate, the horses in Aruba are much smaller than the horses in the USA or Europe. The following horse types can be found: Paso Fino, Trocha, Trotton, and the South American Quarter Horse.
