Dolphin Discovery
Dolphin Discovery
This is the perfect program for small children to discover what it takes to care for our dolphin friends. Touch, feed and build your relationship with the dolphins during your face-to-face encounter.
Your King's Wharf day trip will include an interactive dolphin encounter while standing on a submersible platform (this tour does not include swimming with the dolphins). While there, you will closely observe the behaviors and personalities of the dolphins. You will also assist the trainer, in rewarding the dolphins with fish during this unforgettable experience. Each encounter is unique, based upon the comfort level of the guests, trainers, and dolphins. At the end of the encounter, personalized photos with dolphins will be available for purchase.
The tour duration reflects your time with the dolphins only. Orientation takes approximately 5 minutes and your time in the water is approximately 15 minutes.
Your tour also includes complimentary admission to the National Museum of Bermuda. Previously a British naval fort, the museum explores 500 years of local history and culture. In addition to the exhibits, you can view the bastions, cannons, shipwreck artifacts, art, and spectacular sea views from this incredible historical landmark. Museum visitors also have the opportunity to view and admire the dolphins in their ocean sanctuary. The museum portion is self-guided and you may stay as long as you wish during the museum's hours of operation. Guests wishing to visit the museum only or observe the dolphins can pay the admission to the museum, which is approximately $15 US per adult, $12 US for seniors, and free for children 15 and under.
