Bay of Fundy High Tides and Estate Wine Tour

An adventure through the lands of the French Acadian farmland awaits you.

The first stop will be in the town of Windsor, originally known as Pisiquid, to view the tidal flats. While standing on the dykes built by the Acadians, you will hear about the shipping industry of the area.

Your tour continues through the heart of Annapolis farmland to the Lookoff, from where you'll be able to see most of the Annapolis Valley floor. The excursion continues to Hall's Harbour, located on the Bay of Fundy side of the North Mountain. This small fishing village is one of the best places to see evidence of the highest recorded tides in the world. At low tide the wharf is high and dry, while fishing boats wait patiently on the harbor bottom for the tide to rise and take them out to sea again.

The tour continues to the Gaspereau Winery. One of the younger wineries in the Annapolis Valley, it is known as a boutique winery and is set on the slopes of Gaspereau Valley. This winery creates premium estate-grown and limited-edition wines that reflect the care and passion of the owners. While here, you will have time to taste a number of these wines.
