Half Day Safari Adventure

Discover the lush landscapes of Madeira on this fun half-day Jeep safari. The island is known for its greenery, and you'll get to experience it firsthand during this exciting trek. Book your Madeira tour now and make some new memories.

Madeira receives roughly a million visitors each year, and it's your turn to see why. This Jeep safari takes you away from the crowds and steers you into some of the island's untouched areas. These areas are ripe for exploration with a Jeep. And since your Jeep has off-road capabilities, expect to make the most of the road less traveled.

Throughout this Madeira Jeep safari, head towards Quinta Grande with passage through Camara de Lobos to observe the bay. As you pass by Quinta Grande, you'll make a brief stop at the viewpoint of Faja dos Padres, for photos and be provided with some commentary from your guide about this beautiful location.

You'll then travel through roads of the forest of the eucalyptus, towards the Jardim da Serra, where it is possible to observe the fauna and flora. During your journey, you'll make a stop brief stop so you can receive information about the introduction of the Eucalyptus tree in Madeira Island.

Once you get to the Jardim da Serra, you'll make a quick pit stop for some coffee (at your own expense) and a bathroom break. Then you will go to the Miradouro of Boca dos Namorados--at 1000 meters of altitude, you can see the Curral das Freiras and listen to the guide's explain the history of this famous location.

After the viewpoint of Boca dos Namorado, you'll descend towards Funchal, as you head back to the harbor. Keep an eye out, as you will pass through the Estreito of Camara de Lobos where you'll be treated to a lovely view of the local vineyards.
