Highlights and Royal Albatross Center

This festive adventure begins from Port Chalmers wharf, where your guide will escort you along Harbour Road into Dunedin City. After visiting main sights and Baldwin Street, the world's steepest street, you'll see Otago Peninsula from a prime vista. Then, you'll visit the Royal Albatross Center to see and interact with the birds and its legacy. Bird watchers find this tour to be very pleasant.

A visit to the city and Baldwin Street, noted by Guinness Book of World Records as the steepest street in the world, begins your guided adventure. The corner boutique at the top has interesting wares on display. Next, you'll travel through University of Otago, reaching Peninsula High Road for stunning coastal views and picturesque St. Clair Beach esplanade.

Thereafter, you are delivered to the Royal Albatross Center on Taiaroa Heads for a special tour. The world's only mainland breeding colony of Royal Albatross reside here. A brief walk up a steep pathway will take you to the Observatory, where a number of nesting areas can be seen. This is the best place to view albatross if they are flying. Book this Dunedin tour for a memory-making adventure.

Please Note: Please bring your own re-usable water bottle. Chilled, filtered spring water is provided complimentary to all passengers who bring their own water bottle.
