Your excursion begins with a quick tour at St. John, the largest city in New Brunswick and the only one directly on the Bay of Fundy. From there travel through beautiful rural New Brunswick on your way to St Andrew's by the Sea. Walk along the shoreline at Passamaquoddy Bay, check out the world-famous Algonquin Resort then grab some lunch downtown and shop till you drop at a few of the many quaint waterfront shops. Pick up a souvenir or two then reconvene with the tour and head back down the rugged coastline as your tour guide shares fascinating facts and stories about the Bay of Fundy. Back in St. John you will have the opportunity to stand at Reversing Falls, a world-famous attraction where the St. John river flows in reverse twice daily thanks to a huge tidal surge from the Bay of Fundy. While in town, shop the eclectic goods available at the Old City Market. First opened in 1876, it is Canada's oldest continuing farmers market housing several merchants who have plied their wares there for generations. This easy 6 hour tour is wonderful for families.
