Enjoy a scenic cruise and indulge in Alaska's finest salmon on this Juneau combination tour that features a "whales guarantee."

After a short ride to Auke Bay, you'll hop onto a catamaran and sail into the beautiful waters of Stephen's Passage. Known for being a popular humpback whale feeding ground, the area is sure to provide some incredible photo opportunities. Once a whale is spotted, your guide will get you as close as possible so you can get a better look. Meanwhile, you'll learn all about the habitat and behavior of the majestic creature from an on board expert.

Following your whale sighting, you'll stop at Colt Island for a salmon bake within Orca Point Lodge. You're in for a treat: wild Alaska salmon, chicken kababs and other tasty items can be enjoyed. During your time at the lodge, you can take advantage of the marine life touch pool or go for a scenic walk on the beach before heading back to the catamaran and finishing your Juneau tour.

This Juneau port tour includes a whale guarantee, which entities you to a refund if no whales are sighted. Restrooms are available at all stops of this tour.

4 StarsWildlife Quest and salmon bakeSeptember 28, 2016

There were forty of us on this a pontoon boat for 90 people. That was a plus for us since we could all easily see the beautiful scenery and hear the persons who explained what we were seeing. That was a great plus. Although, we didn't see many marine mammals, I did appreciate experiencing the vastness of the water ways with small unpopulated islands surrounding us. It is in this type of trip that I experience the calmness, the quietness of Alaska. The salmon bake was yummy and worth the extra expense.

My wife and I had a fantastic time on this great shore excursion. The small group pick-up was a bit early (good thing), the driver was very interesting, the boat tour brought us very close to the humpback whales with large groups of whales. The salmon bake was exceptional. Thanks!
