River Bumpkin Kayaking Adventure from Ocho Rios

Get away from the hustle and bustle of Ocho Rios and enjoy a tranquil kayak tour.

Your Ocho Rios excursion begins with a nice walk alongside Martha Brae River. This river has quite the legend attached to it: It's believed that the river's course was changed by a witch many years ago; it was done to drown her captors who were seeking her treasure. Despite this ominous tale, there's nothing scary about the river; kayakers of all skill levels can enjoy this particular Ocho Rios kayak tour.

At the end of the stroll, you will get in a kayak and start paddling downstream. You will find yourself immersed in the tranquility of the water as your kayak glides through. The course becomes progressively more challenging as you make your way around the bend, but it's never overwhelming. All the while, you'll enjoy views of waterfalls and other natural wonders.

Please Note: This Ocho Rios tour consists of approximately 3 hours of travel time and 2.5 hours of activities. It is not recommended for individuals who have joint problems since it involves paddling and other repetitive movements.
