La Bufadora & City Tour
No Ensenada trip is complete without a visit to La Bufadora, the area's famous blowhole. During this Ensenada tour, you'll be face-to-face with this natural wonder that sprays water more than 100 feet into the air. Don't miss this unique Ensenada experience!
You'll be greeted by your guide at the pier and then transported to La Bufadora, which is located roughly 20 miles from Ensenada. After a scenic ride to the attraction, you'll get to see one of the world's largest blowholes up close. The noise and sight of this marine geyser is unlike anything you've ever experienced. Every minute, the blowhole shoots out water and makes thunderous sounds. Have your camera handy!
After your 90-minute stop at La Bufadora and its surrounding flea market, you can either continue shopping in Ensenada's downtown area or head back to the ship with the tour. If you decide to stay in downtown, you will have to find your way back to the pier; taxis are readily available in the area.
During this Ensenada experience, there will be times when you will be walking on uneven surfaces or steep landscapes. As a result, make sure you wear appropriate attire. Reserve your spot now for the ultimate Ensenada sightseeing adventure.

We followed the directions to meet our tour and easily found our tour guide. Our tour was enjoyable and informative. The only problem we had was that with the airconditioning on in the van, it was sometimes difficult to hear our tour guide from the back row of the van. Maybe a microphone next time would help? The drive up to La Bufadora included information on areas we passed in the city as well as farms and scenery outside of the city. We saw the blowhole, but were a little disappointed, as the water did not spout very much. We were told by merchants that it's a larger spout in the afternoon. There was plenty of shopping to do at La Bufadora as well as in town. We asked to be dropped off in town and walked along the shopping area before walking back to the ship on our own (with directions from our tour guide).
