Restrictions This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Guests must be able to walk over paved, gravel, and packed dirt surfaces, many of which are uneven and at an incline. Begin your tour of Mt. Rainier National Park by heading south from Seattle to the Nisqually entrance to the park. Continue up a winding and scenic road to the brand new Paradise Jackson Visitor Center.

Depending on the time of year, you'll see an array of mountain wildlife in its natural habitat and Alpine flora blooming into the summer months. Don't forget to bring a jacket, though - even in the summertime, Mt. Ranier is cool and breezy, and there's always some snow on the ground at higher elevations.
