Discover the charm and history of Mykonos' traditional way of life reflected within its city limits, and often unappreciated sites by many of its visitors. Venture off the beaten path as your guide shares the local lore, and dig into the town's ancient and cultural roots, by walking through the city streets and reliving some of its memories.

One of several places you will explore is Manto Square. It is here where you will find the famous monument of Manto Mayrogenous, a Greek heroine of the Greek War of Independence. Right after, you will wander past whitewashed buildings to the flower-draped Matogianni area, where famous boutiques line the streets with renowned fashion brands.

As you continue walking, you will come across three identical 18th-century wells, The Tria Pigadia, the home of Manto Mavrogenous, and the Maritime Museum. From there, you will continue your walk towards Gioras bakery to taste freshly made treats from their warm wooden oven which will be an additional cost not included in the tour before heading towards five in row windmills, which still stand proudly as a local attraction.

Crossing the narrow winding paths, through the castle of the Chora and the Scarpa area, you will find Little Venice which is famous for its picturesque medieval two-story houses. From there you will find the Panagia Paraportiani, a church famous for its architectural structures in Greece, and as you continue your walk, you will come across the Folklore Museum.Entrance fees to the Archaeological musuem or the Folklore museum will be an additional cost.

As you are heading back, gaze at the blue-domed Agios Nikolaos Church at the old port. Few churches in the area are as quaint and picturesque as Agios, and the blue dome of this Cycladic church matches the water in the Old Port leading to the Aegean Sea.

At the end of your tour, your guide will drive you back to where you were picked up.
