See Australia's amazing native animals in a new light as you get close to a koala, kangaroo, wallaby or emu. As you explore the Australian Walkabout trails, listen to Aboriginal stories about the creation of the native animals and the landscape. Learn the centuries-old traditional uses of plants for food, tools, and medicine. Enjoy interactive experiences with unique Australian wildlife and a vast array of Australia's beautiful native wetland birds. Top off the experience with a delicious morning tea.
This discovery tour is perfect if you want to see Australia's wonderful wildlife up close, and also want to learn more about Australia's important cultural heritage, and the role played by Taronga Zoo's Aboriginal guides. Your tour also includes entry to the zoo and access to the Sky Safari cable car.
Please Note: This tour is unavailable until further notice. The tour duration and departure time is for the discovery tour. Your ticket includes admission to the zoo and access to the Sky Safari cable car, and guests can arrive at any time during the opening hours. Transportation is not included in the tour price, so you can come and go at will. The zoo is open from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM in winter (May to August) and from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM in summer (September to April).
