Original Rock Tour

Discover Gibraltar in comfort. This epic Gibraltar tour takes you to Europa Point to see the Pillars of Hercules before reaching the Nature Reserve - home of the Barbary ape. Then visit St. Michael's Cave and Princess Catherine's Battery before seeing the Moorish Castle's Tower of Homage.

You'll drive through tunnels with your professional English-speaking guide to Europa Point, an area forming the southernmost point of Gibraltar - a British Overseas Territory abutting Spain. Nearby is the mighty Rock of Gibraltar, a giant limestone standing 1,398 feet above the Mediterranean Sea.

From here, you'll see views (across the Strait of Gibraltar) toward northern Africa, where the Mons Abyla rock formation stands. Both rocks, the Rock of Gibraltar and the Mons Abyla, form the mythical Pillars of Hercules. Legend states Hercules pushed the two rocks apart so the Atlantic and Mediterranean Seas could meet.

Your tour of Gibraltar continues towards the Upper Rock to the Nature Reserve, home of the famous Barbary Macaques Apes. You'll be able to interact with the "Rock Apes" in their own environment.

Next up is St. Michael's Cave. This stunning limestone cave stands 980 feet above sea level. Its ambiance and acoustics create the ideal location for regular concerts and events.

Your journey continues onto Princess Caroline's Battery. Built in 1732 and named after Princess Caroline, the daughter of King George II, this former military building cemented Britain's claim to Gibraltar. You'll then pass the aged Tower of Homage at the Moorish Castle to see its walls scarred by Spanish cannons during the siege years.

The adventure to the sights of historic Gibraltar finishes following a visit to the town center, where shopping and dining opportunities abound. Book this tour of Gibraltar now for an unforgettable experience at a low price.

Please Note: This tour concludes at Midtown Coach Park. Guests are responsible for making their way back to the pier.
