Powerboat Adventure and Sculpture Park Snorkel

After being picked up at the cruise pier, you will be transferred to the boat for a perfect mix of sightseeing, snorkeling, and discovery with a nautical twist and fun.

The twin-engine 450 horsepower boat is fast, light, agile, and quite unlike anything else in Grenada, with no bashing through the seas like normal boats. The ride is amazingly dry, extremely smooth, and most importantly, fun! The unique seating offers a perfect view as you dash along the coast exploring the picturesque bays and coves. The professional, experienced crew will look after you as you uncover the real Grenada.

As you cruise into the bays, you will slow down and drift as your knowledgeable guides educate you on the rich history, culture, flora, and fauna. You will learn about the active underwater volcano, monkeys, armadillos, whales, dolphins, marlins, and leatherback turtles (some that can weigh as much as 200 pounds!). The diversity on and around Grenada is amazing, and you will learn all about it. You will also get the chance to snorkel the reef and get wet at the World's 1st Underwater Sculpture Park in the Marine Protected Area. This unique snorkel mixes marine life with amazing life-sized art which aims to create an artificial reef within an existing reef system. Whether you snorkeled yesterday, a few years ago, or have never done it before, your guides are there to help. The PADI certified staff provide a comprehensive briefing on how to snorkel before you go into the water, and a guide will be in the water with you at all the times to make sure you don't miss a thing. First-class equipment will be at your disposal, including masks, snorkels, fins, as well as snorkel vests and other flotation devices. There is a swim ladder to help you on and off the boat easily. Non-snorkelers are free to relax on board and hear more information about Grenada from the Captain while the others explore the water.

After a good blast back to St George's, you will learn more about the Capital voted the prettiest in the Caribbean. Not only will you learn about the buildings and the early explorers that settled from Europe, but you will hear a fascinating story about how a cruise ship burst into flames while anchored outside St. George's, sinking and leaving the island with the Titanic of the Caribbean. After an exciting day out in the sea and sun, your tour will end back at the cruise pier.
