After you meet your guide at the cruise ship pier, you'll head southeast of Mazatlan on a picturesque drive towards the gentle Presidio River. Upon reaching the river, you'll be introduced to your experienced river ride guide, who will issue kayaking and safety equipment, as well as offer kayaking tips.

Then, get settled in your kayak, grab your paddle, and get ready for an adventure through nature you won't forget. Leisurely row through the Level 1 (gentle) river as you take in the impressive beauty of the river and its surroundings, including a look at the immense Picachos Dam.

Once your ninety minutes on the water, have passed, arrive back at the town for an authentic Mexican lunch. After eating, feel free to roam the village and visit some of its attractions, including the leather factory, history museum, local church, and hot springs. Oh, and don't forget to stop by the tequila factory, where you'll be able to enjoy a free sample-or two-of this local masterpiece.
