Begin your guided private tour with a comfortable 30-minute drive to Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with an incredible history. Built-in the 10th century B.C., Ephesus contains the largest collection of Roman ruins in the Eastern Mediterranean. Famed for the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, this ancient city has plenty of sights to offer the eager eye. Pass by historic buildings and sculptures as you walk along Arcadia Way, a beautiful marble street stretching from the city's harbor to The Great Theater. Feel history come to life knowing past citizens and famous figures like Marc Antony and Cleopatra traveled down the same path thousands of years ago.

Walk by the Library of Celsus, built-in 125 AD, where an extravagant entrance once lead to nearly 12,000 scrolls. Another highlight on your walk is The Baths of Scholastica, an area used by former citizens to bathe, socialize, and discuss current events and important daily topics. The most grandiose attraction in Ephesus is The Great Theater, a massive 25,000 seat venue. Sixty rows of seats spanning three sections face a striking 60-foot stage. The theater was once used for concerts and plays, as well as religious, political, and philosophical discussions. Most interestingly, gladiator and animal fights were also once held there. The venue's acoustics remain remarkable, allowing modern-day concerts to be held on occasion. As your walk continues, your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating stories about Alexander the Great, the Virgin Mary, and other famous figures who walked down the same marble streets. Observe a few other notable highlights before moving forward with your private tour.

Depart Ephesus and head to refreshing paradise in a Turkish Bath. A Middle Eastern variant of a steam bath, Turkish Baths originated when Queen Cleopatra needed a remedy for a string of long-lasting headaches. Enjoy a private therapeutic cleansing of your body similar to what Cleopatra experienced. Forget the world outside as your body and mind are purified by hot steam and exfoliating body scrub. A distinctive Turkish towel (peshtemal) is provided for you to wear after dressing down to your swimsuit. Gorgeous architecture and rejuvenating waters will have you feeling like a brand new person after this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Your private tour concludes with a return trip to Kusadasi. You have the option to end your tour in a vibrant shopping area, where an interesting Turkish carpet demonstration takes place. Additionally, you can explore the variety of shops filled with jewelry, carpets, leatherwear, and copper goods. If you prefer to return to your port instead of remaining in the shopping area, advise your professional guide and you'll be returned directly to your port. Book this comprehensive Kusadasi private tour for an unforgettable Turkish experience at an exclusively low price.

Please note: the standard of dress throughout Turkey is conservative. Modest clothing covering your shoulders and knees is required. Short shorts and sleeveless shirts (for both men and women) are not acceptable.
