After arriving in Florence, you'll meet your local, professional tour guide to begin this private, day-long tour of Florence, high fashion, and truffle tasting.

First, you'll visit the Ferragamo Museums, which commemorate the life of fashion mogul Salvatore Ferragamo. Ferragamo, a native Italian, traveled to America at the age of 16 in 1914, where he was introduced to the modern machinery used in shoemaking. Ferragamo recognized the use of modern technology, but preferred and prioritized the personal touch of handmade craftsmanship.

Ferragamo returned to Italy, settling in Florence, and launched a fashion empire that has persisted - and appreciated in value - to today. Next, you'll move on to another museum dedicated to high fashion, the Gucci Museum.

Gucci, one of the world's preeminent designer brands, maintains an incredibly fascinating and unique museum in the Florence area. The museum features traditional exhibits, such as old advertising campaigns, retro images and clothing, and more, but also rooms dedicated to Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele's curiosity towards animals and gardens, too.

After the museum tours, you'll stop for refreshments in the historic Procacci Shop in the heart of Florence. Founded in 1885, this delicatessen has earned an excellent reputation with the locale for truffle-adorned gastronomic delicacies. King Vittorio Emanuele II even made the Procacci shop a royal supplier and awarded the royal coat of arms on his signage.

Today, you'll be able to complete your tour with one of the Procacci's truffle paninos, a glass of prosecco, and two hours of free time in Florence to shop, eat lunch, and explore.
