Private Halong Bay Cruise and Hanoi - Double Occupancy (2 Days - 1 Night)

An absolute must-do-tour when in Vietnam, this 2-day program will allow you to see the best of both Halong Bay. Take a junk cruise and travel to Hanoi, where you will overnight before visiting landmarks such as Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.

Day One:

Halong Bay

Your driver will pick you up at the cruise ship pier area and transport you to the tourist pier, where you will board your private junk and begin your approximately 3-hour tour of the bay. You will make a stop at Thien Cung (Heaven Cave) for stunning views inside the grotto. Afterwards, you will continue your cruise through numerous islets named after their own shapes, such as Dog, Incense, and Fighting Cock. Enjoy a beverage on board as you admire the marvelous views and the landscape provided by Mother Nature. After your return to the pier you will make your way to Hanoi, approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes away, where you will stay overnight.

Day Two:

Hanoi City

You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning and begin your day with a visit to the Temple of Literature, originally built as a Temple of Confucius. Continue on to the Fine Art Museum and the contemporary Nguyen Art Gallery. You will then drive to the amazing Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country, and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 Ethnic minority peoples.

After lunch in the city center, visit the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple before hopping on a cyclo (3-wheeled bicycle) for an approximately 1-hour ride around the French-inspired Old Quarter. Stroll the narrow streets of the Quarter and browse for souvenirs from the many small shops that contain everything from paintings to contemporary art glass. If time permits, join the crowd for an exhilarating one-hour water puppet show. Then travel back to Cai Lan Port in Hanoi, where you will meet your ship and rejoin your cruise.
