The tour continues with visits to Syntagma Square (commonly known as Constitution Square), host to the capital of the modern Greek state; Monument of the Unknown Soldier, dedicated to all the Greek soldiers who lost their lives in war; the Temple of Zeus (Olympieion), one of the largest temples built in the ancient world; and the Panathenaic Stadium made entirely with marble and host to the first modern Olympic games.
Along with visiting the most recognizable sites in Athens, you will have a brief walking tour before enjoying some free time to explore Plaka, the city's oldest neighborhood before returning to your port.
